Important information about remote Public Forum:

  • You must pre-register with the Clerk to participate in the Public Forum
  • Pre-registered County residents will be taken first.
  • The Public Forum will be conducted using Zoom*. 
    *A  call-in number will also be provided so that anyone who can't use Zoom can still have their voice heard.

How to Pre-Register to Participate in the Public Forum

Pre-registration for the Public Forum CLOSES at 12 noon on the day of the meeting.

Please send an email to publichearings@albanycountyny.gov with the following information:

  • Your name, address and phone number
    Your name and municipality will be made public (e.g., "Jane Doe, Cohoes, NY"), the rest of your information will remain private.
  • Whether you have access to Zoom
    A call-in number will be provided if you can't use Zoom
  • The Public Hearing you would like to speak at and a statement you would like put on record in lieu of formal participation.
    • You may sign up for multiple Public Hearings, if time allows.
    • Please limit the length any written statements to allow for the participation of others.
    • All written statements will be given to members, regardless of length.

Registration for Public Forum CLOSES at 12 Noon on the day of the meeting

We look forward to hearing from our constituents, but we must comply with the Governor's Executive Orders related to large public gatherings.  We are actively working to ensure that the public has the opportunity to be heard in a safe and productive manner and we appreciate your flexibility.
