Albany County is required to use Form 1095-C to report information to the IRS and to full-time employees regarding minimum essential health coverage under the employer plan. Albany County may choose to provide an alternative method of furnishing statements to non-full-time employees and non-employees who are enrolled in health coverage. If you are a non-full-time employee or a non-employee, upon request you may receive a copy of your 1095-C statement. To request a copy of your 1095C statement, please contact the Albany County Department of Human Resources by email, phone, or mail. Attention Albany County Residents!
Albany County residents may be allowed to submit up to two applications per calendar year without having to pay the filing fee for certain exams. The same remains true for employees of Albany County government (with a maximum of two per calendar year). Please refer to the filing fee section of each individual exam announcement as the resident/employee waiver policy does not apply to all exams
