An Important Note for Internet Explorer Users

Our document search system uses a security setting that may not work in older versions of Internet Explorer (IE). If you get a message reading “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” you may need to upgrade your version of IE, or make some easy adjustments to upgrade the security settings of your existing version.

What Version of IE Are You Using?

Open the “Tools” menu or click the gear symbol in the top right corner of your browser window. Select “About Internet Explorer” from the menu – it’s usually the bottom-most choice.

A window will open in the middle of your screen telling you what version of IE you have. Any version less than Internet Explorer 11 may need a security upgrade.

To Upgrade Your Version of IE

Your best option is to upgrade to version 11 or higher, if you can. This will enable you to not only use our Online Document Search, but will also improve your overall experience on the Internet.

Visit the Microsoft Internet Explorer website and follow the instructions you find there.

If you can't update to Internet Explorer 11, you can still modify an older version to improve its security settings and enable the use of our Online Records Search:

If you can't update to Internet Explorer 11, you still have the option of updating the security setting on your existing version of IE.

Open the “Tools” menu or click the gear symbol in the top right corner of your browser window and select “Internet Options” from the menu (it’s usually near the bottom of the list). A settings box will open. Select the “Advanced” tab and scroll down to the “Security” options (they’re usually near the end). Check the box that says “Use TLS 1.2” and then click the “OK” button.

You will need to close and re-open IE for the setting to take effect. Then you should be able to use our new online records search system.
