The park has three marked trails, two on the lower half of the park and one on the upper, offer access for hiking and cross country skiing.

There are two points of access for boating (with car top vessels only) and fishing. One is at the west side of the lake and can be reached by taking the main entrance road to a drop-off point at the lake (no parking lot). The other launching point on the east side of the lake can be accessed by parking your vehicle in the lot along Lawson Lake Road, and carrying your vessel down the path to the launching point.
